History
| 1927 | Hirokazu Matsumoto, grandfather of current president Ryohei Matsumoto, established Matsumoto Works in Ikejima-Cho, Minato-Ku, Osaka-City. The business began with the manufacture and repair of engines/auxiliary machineries for shipyards. Later, it moved to Ishida, Minato-Ku, and its name was changed to Matsumoto Machinery Works. It started manufacturing nail manufacturing machines. |
